A mushy kinda love

Have you ever looked at mushrooms or fungi and thought “how incredibly beautiful and powerful, yet weird these things are?!”
I’m not talking ‘everyday’ mushrooms, but wild & deep in the forest types. And no, before you think it – not the ‘magic’ kind.
(Although, they are pretty magical in what they can do.)

All the pink and coral beauties.

Not only are mushrooms a sight for the eyes, but did you know they are good for your health too?

Shrooms are nutritional powerhouses with a myriad of health benefits including:

Anti-inflammatory | Antioxidants | Immune support | Brain health | Mood boosting | Increase energy + stamina | Beauty enhancing capabilities

I didn’t start out as a huge fan of the fungi, although now I cannot get enough. (Mushroom medleys are one of favourite breakfast orders!)
Aside from the everyday type, I have noticed mushroom coffees, tonics and potions are popping up everywhere in the wellness world.
(They’re even in Gwyneth Paltrow’s daily morning smoothie).

Medicinal mushrooms — not the hallucinogenic kind—have been used for centuries by Eastern medicine healers in China, India and Russia to heal various ailments.
Typically ingested in tea or powder form, wellness experts are now suggesting to mix various powdered mushroom formulas into tonics, juices and coffees.
There are a few different types of mushrooms that have been scientifically proven to help with the above mentioned health benefits, aswell as mood.

I think it’s time to embrace shrooms fully and incorporate them into my daily wellness practise.
Will you too?

For those of you who are interested to give the ol’ shroom a go aswell, yet are skeptical on the taste,
know that these mushroom powders are virtually tasteless. There is no need to worry about them messing with the flavour of your smoothie or coffee.

I’m constantly inspired by nature and the weird and wonderful things out there
which provide so much inspiration and can be used for health and wellness benefits.
I cannot wait to harness the power of these different mushroom varieties.
Please let me know if you have tried any yourself and if you noticed a difference?
